The aim of the project is to solve the problem of non-defined (both structurally and due to an indication of potential users) space surrounding the blocks of the flats.

In terms of that, the blocks were linked by a form of the plateau, which provided intuitive separation of semi-public space (raised courtyard) from the public (street level). This intervention helps also to visually define the border of the studied urban block. Recessed plazas created within the plateau ale the elements which mark the space and serve characteristic places for human activities. Without the traditional urban mass, the plateau becomes the alternative fabric, in which urban typology can be crystallized. Around each block, a private garden was created to domesticate the close surrounding of the house and strengthen the sense of gradation of space from public to private.
